Users, roles & permissions
Who can sign in, what they can do, and which stations they can see.
Draft. Replace the placeholder copy with the real Live3 roles and permissions.
A user is an individual who can sign in to Live3. Users belong to an organization, and what each user can do is determined by their role and the stations they've been granted access to.
Roles
A role is a named bundle of permissions. Assigning a role is how you decide what a user is allowed to do.
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Manage members, roles, stations and settings. |
| Operator | View and operate assigned stations. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to assigned stations. |
The roles above are placeholders — confirm the real role names and capabilities against the product before publishing.
Station access
A role says what a user can do; station access says where they can do it. A user typically only sees the stations they've been assigned.
