Data

The raw readings log for one station, with a CSV download.

The Data screen is a table of every reading the selected station has sent, one row per reading, newest first. Use it when you need the exact numbers rather than a chart: to check what a sensor reported at a given moment, or to download readings for a spreadsheet.

How to get there. Choose Data in the left navigation. The table shows the station picked in the station switcher in the top bar; switch stations there.

Key areas

AreaWhat it does
Date RangeQuick chips for Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days and Last 30 days, plus Custom to pick your own start and end dates. The screen always opens on Today.
DownloadDownloads the selected station's readings for the chosen date range as a CSV file. While it runs, the button shows how much has been downloaded so far.
Timestamp columnWhen each reading was taken, shown in the station's own timezone. Click the heading to switch between newest first and oldest first.
Parameter columnsOne column per parameter that has data in the chosen range, headed with its name and unit. A dash means the station sent no value for that parameter in that reading.
Device health columnsNetwork (Online or Offline), Battery, Charging (Yes or No) and DeviceTemp, as reported with each reading. Not every device reports all of them.
PaginationChoose 25, 50, 100 or 200 rows per page, and move between pages with the arrows or page numbers.

Common tasks

Check what a station reported at a specific time

  1. Pick the station in the station switcher in the top bar.
  2. Under Date Range, choose the day (Today, Yesterday, or Custom for an older date).
  3. Click the Timestamp heading if you want the oldest readings first, then page through to the time you need.

Download readings as a spreadsheet

  1. Pick the station in the top bar.
  2. Choose a date range. A download always covers whole days, from the start of the first day to the end of the last.
  3. Click Download. The file is named after the station and the dates, and opens in Excel or any spreadsheet tool.

The CSV has the same columns as the table, and its timestamps use the station's timezone, so the file matches what you see on screen.

A single download can cover up to one year. For a longer period, download it one year at a time. Large ranges can take a minute or two before the file is ready.

Find out why a value is missing

  1. Open the range where the gap appears.
  2. Look at the Network column for those rows. Offline readings and dashes in the parameter columns usually point to a connectivity or sensor problem at the site rather than a problem in Live3.
  3. If a parameter column is missing altogether, the station sent no data for it in that range. Widen the range to check when it last reported.
