Octantis 2 AN5300S AHRS
Airborne Qualified AHRS Systems
Overview
Aeron's Octantis 2 AHRS is indigenously designed and developed for airborne applications, qualified as per MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-810E/F/G and DO-178B Level B (100% MC/DC coverage) standards, and accorded CEMILAC certification.
The AHRS is equipped with tactical-grade MEMS-based gyroscopes, accelerometers, and a built-in magnetometer which provide uninterrupted, high-performance attitude and heading information to airborne platforms. Aeron's proprietary parameter estimation engine, based on a multi-modal Kalman filter architecture, offers superior real-time performance in demanding applications.
The Octantis 2 AHRS is an airborne-qualified system that can be used as a primary or standby instrument for electronic flight instrumentation systems and cockpit displays in a wide range of fighter, transport and passenger aircraft — and for autonomous control applications in unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Octantis 2 AN5300S is an attitude and heading reference system designed for airborne applications. Tactical grade MEMS gyroscopes, accelerometers and a built-in magnetometer provide attitude and heading, output at 50 Hz over RS232 and RS422. Qualified to MIL-STD-461E and DO-178B Level B and accorded CEMILAC certification, it serves as a primary or standby instrument for cockpit displays.
